How to make someone vomit through conversational Hypnosis...

Ok, the headline is a little sensationalized. But real.

A few years ago I was in Las Vegas as a speaker for Hypnothoughts live. A small group of us were talking about what is possible with conversational hypnosis.

Someone brought up that one of the instructors that I had trained with says he can get someone to vomit just from conversational hypnosis. The group doubted it.

I had never tried anything like this, but felt I was up to the challenge. So with their consent, of course, I started telling a story with the goal of making the group have a physiological response to my words (thats what Hypnosis is anyway right?)

I layered a few nested loops, embedded commands, presuppositions, along with nonverbal suggestions, and some vivid imagery all INSIDE A STORY.

Now, I didn't get anyone to actually throw up but the group conceded in the middle of my story that it is most certainly possible! They had enough and didn't want to go any further.

I took it as a win, and a reminder about how powerful stories are to create an emotional and physiological response when told properly!

I'm not going to tell you how to make someone throw up just from telling a story...
